What's Allowed
- ✓ Sharing your stack milestones and achievements
- ✓ Discussing market conditions and price analysis (clearly labeled as opinion)
- ✓ Asking questions about dealers, coins, bars, and storage
- ✓ Posting photos of your stack (no sensitive identifying information)
- ✓ Sharing news and linking to credible sources
- ✓ Recommending dealers you have personally used (clearly disclosed)
- ✓ Debating strategy — DCA vs. lump sum, gold vs. silver, etc.
What's Not Allowed
- ✕ Price manipulation, pump-and-dump schemes, or coordinated buying campaigns
- ✕ Spam, self-promotion, or affiliate links without clear disclosure
- ✕ Selling metals or facilitating private sales (we are not a marketplace)
- ✕ Sharing personal financial or identifying information about others
- ✕ Political content unrelated to monetary policy or metals markets
- ✕ Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of any community member
- ✕ Misinformation presented as fact (e.g., claiming metals are "guaranteed" to go to specific prices)
- ✕ Content that violates local laws or promotes illegal activity
Moderation Policy
Our moderators are community members with elevated permissions. They are here to keep the campfire welcoming, not to stifle discussion.
Moderation Steps
1st offense Friendly reminder via direct message explaining the guideline
2nd offense Content removal with explanation
3rd offense Temporary 7-day suspension from community features
Severe violation Immediate account suspension (spam, harassment, illegal content)
All moderation decisions can be appealed by emailing [email protected].
Reporting Issues
If you see content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it. Every report is reviewed by a human moderator.
